Stack, the independent magazine subscription service, was putting together an ambitious series of events entitled ‘How to make a magazine’ and asked us to help out with video coverage. There were five evening events in total – An Introduction to Independent Magazines, How to Edit a Magazine, How to Design a Magazine, Reporting the Climate Crisis and Magazine Inspiration – run across two venues in Shoreditch, London.
The recording was a challenge as one of the venues was small, dark and projector lit, without a feed from a sound desk, but the coverage captured the spirit of the events, which was lively, passionate presentation and conversation from people who (like us) just love magazines.
